The institute emphasizes architectural quality by focusing on its practice, and is aided by aestheticsand humanist knowledge to train students. The studio learning style is adopted in the teaching, and thestudios are divided into three groups:
A. Creative Work Studio |This creative direction uses architectural art and humanism to discuss thepsychological effects that a space has on people. It also uses the ideas of residential styles, digitalarchitecture, and creative architecture of Tainan to be the subject of development.
B. Field & Action Studio |It uses the creative spirit of “experiment and experience” to researchconstruction aesthetics in architecture and the environment of spatial fields. It also uses theconstruction of environmental structures to be the creative core of our discussions.
C. Studio for Research and Praxis in Lebenswelt |It leads students to care about the behavior varyingamong different spaces in Taiwanese cities and countryside, to learn investigational methods, tochoose the subject of practice, and to show, accompany, and improve the problems that communitiesare facing through various methods such as architecture, exhibition, performance, and discussion.
